  • Website URLs: URLs you submit for academy generation. We scrape publicly available data from these websites to create academy content.
  • Payment Information: Payment processing is handled entirely by LemonSqueezy. We do not store credit card numbers, bank account details, or other financial information on our servers.
  • Learner Data: If you are a learner enrolled in an academy, we collect your name, email address, quiz answers, course progress, and certificate information.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, time spent on the platform, click patterns, and interaction data.
  • Device Information: Browser type, operating system, device type, screen resolution, and language preferences.
  • Log Data: IP address, access times, referring URLs, and server log information.
  • Cookies and Similar Technologies: We use cookies, local storage, and similar tracking technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, and analyze usage. See Section 7 for more details.

2.3 Publicly Available Website Data

When you provide a website URL for academy generation, our system scrapes publicly available content from that website, including text, page structure, documentation, and feature descriptions. This data is processed by our AI systems to generate academy content. We do not access any password-protected, private, or restricted areas of websites.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • Generate AI-powered academy content based on website data you provide.
  • Process enrollments and manage learner progress.
  • Issue and verify certificates of completion.
  • Send transactional emails (verification, enrollment confirmations, certificate delivery).
  • Process payments through our third-party payment provider.
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve functionality and user experience.
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or abuse.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms of service.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate our platform. Each service has its own privacy policy governing their use of your data:

  • Supabase: Database hosting and authentication services. Stores account data, academy content, and learner progress.
  • OpenAI: AI content generation. Website data and prompts are sent to OpenAI to generate academy curricula, lesson content, and quiz questions. OpenAI processes this data in accordance with their data usage policies.
  • LemonSqueezy: Payment processing. Handles all billing, subscriptions, and financial transactions. We do not store your payment credentials.
  • Resend: Email delivery service. Used to send verification emails, enrollment notifications, and certificate delivery.
  • Vercel: Website hosting and infrastructure. Processes server requests and may collect standard server logs.

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Academy content, including lessons, quizzes, and descriptions, is generated by artificial intelligence based on publicly available website data. This content may contain inaccuracies, errors, omissions, or outdated information. We do not manually review all AI-generated content for accuracy. Academy owners are responsible for reviewing and editing their generated content before publishing it to learners.

6. Data Retention

  • Preview Academies: Unpublished preview academies and their associated data are automatically deleted after 72 hours.
  • Published Academies: Data for published academies is retained for the duration of your active subscription and for a reasonable period afterward to allow for account reactivation.
  • Learner Data: Learner progress, quiz results, and certificate records are retained as long as the associated academy remains active.
  • Account Data: We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve the Service. These include essential cookies required for authentication and session management, as well as analytics cookies that help us understand how the Service is used. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent certain features from functioning correctly.

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
